After I finished my MSc in Cybersecurity, we moved to Bolton. We were worried about another change, but Naomi settled in quickly. She adjusted to the new environment and became more confident moving around. She now recognises places around our home and school and understands her surroundings much better. She moves carefully and manages herself in a way we never saw before. She is now in Year 6 and preparing to start secondary school in September 2026. Her school, Bolton St Catherine’s Primary School, has really helped her. The teachers and the principal have shown patience and understanding. They make small adjustments in class so she can read and follow lessons comfortably. Her teachers always say good things about her attitude and effort in class. She is doing well academically. She enjoys reading and takes interest in her schoolwork. She participates during lessons and asks questions. Outside the classroom she joins activities confidently.
